My story should be different. It was. Depressed... suicidal... angry... controlling... ashamed... afraid... dealing with wounds of rejection and abandonment... without self-esteem or any sense of worth and value... trying to find peace in alcohol... trying to find acceptance through people pleasing... trying to find belonging in organizations, positions, titles... hurting and dying inside moment by moment while outwardly trying to present a perfect and positive image to the world.

But. God.

Those two seemingly simple words hold a tremendous amount of weight and truth in my life. In 2008, by the grace of God, my life was redirected from its trajectory of hopelessness and put on a new path of healing and wholeness. I know the difference that God can make if given the chance in a person's life. That's why I'm so passionate about presenting Him to others. We are all in need of a Savior. My life's work is to tell as many people as possible who He is.
